I’ve had my eye on Elizabeth Hartman’s Penguin Parade pattern ever since the sneak previews started showing up on Instagram. I’ve even started pulling fabrics that could make cute little sweaters. Then I spotted an Artic themed sew-a-long with Said With Love, a knew that was the push I needed to make my Penguin Party dream a reality!
I spent most of my writing time last year on Quilting Swaps. That’s how I’ve met many oh my friends in the quilt community, and I love the support and inspiration. This year I have decided to scale back, avoid the “swap stress” and start actually keeping the things I make. A sew-a-long is the perfect way to get that community aspect back… And to keep me motivated!
