I’m still here

June 16, 2005 by Cindy Leave a Comment

I am convinced this is how we get old… time is flying by so fast, I am just going to wake up one day, be 50 years old and be like WHAT HAPPENED!? It seems like the weekend just ended, and it is already 1/2 way to the next.

I have has somewhat of a life this past month or so… but i’m realizing that when i am at working in front of a computer all day long, it’s no longer the first place i want to be when i get home.
A month and a half in a nut-shell… visited GW, saw ChittyChitti Bang Bang on Broadway, celebrated Jess’s birthday, applied for new jobs (no success), interviewd at FCB (no success), joined Advertising Women of New York aka AWNY (networking like a pro), won a lunch with Stephanie Kugelman (Chief Strategy Officer of Young and Rubicam) at AWNY VIP Auction, flew to St Paul to meet up with Laurie, drove to DC with Laurie (stopping in Chicago for a pizza dinner with Rian), celebrated my 24th Birthday at Lauriol Plaza with Laurie and Melanie (one of the most amazing dinners I have every had, pretty much the EXACT opposite of Lindsay’s mexican food adventures in London), crocheting a baby afghan for my cousin and maybe my boss, found prefect dress for Heath’s Wedding, rocked the Macy’s 1 day sale (still need shoes though), Mom turned 50…

And that leaves us at today, where I will venture to New Rochelle, NY where the VP of Ziff Daivs Internet lives… he is throwing a party dubbed the Ziff Davis Internet East Coast Sales and Marketing Summer Summitt . Sould be fun AND most importantly, a free day from work w/o using up my precious vacation days.

More details on life to come…
