Last Month of the #ICYPOLESSAL

October 3, 2018 by Cindy 3 Comments

I still can’t believe it’s already October! I knew I wasn’t going to have a lot of free time in September, but I was not expecting for the month of fly by so fast.

My one monthly goal with Elm Street Quilts is she finished all of the penguin blocks!

This this may seem a little ambitious… Especially considering I didn’t then completely finish my goal for September. I did finish all of the faces, which I think is the most he is part of the pattern. So hopefully the rest of the blocks will come together pretty fast!

I’m sewing a long with Said With Love and a great group of quilters on Instagram / Facebook… I think most of them are in Australia! They’re all very supportive. It’s so long and at the end of October… Technically I would like to have the whole quilt top done by then. That was the plan when I started the so long, and maybe a pillow too. But at this point I’d be very happy just to have all the Penguins done.

I have 10 Penguins to complete. But I do have 10 faces done, two body units done, and one set of arms. The hardest part is behind me and I’m excited to see all the little penguins together!
