*sigh*
I always seem to put things off for as long as I possibly can… including getting new glasses. Or at least a new prescription.
I didn’t even realize I had blurry vision until college… silly me, I always just thought the overhead projectors in class were a little out of focus, or that technology just wasn’t advanced enough to project a crisp/clear picture onto a screen.
Jump forward to summer 2002, & I finally get my eyes checked… how amazing! I could now read things like street signs and the chalkboard in class without sitting in the front row. Who knew.
I don’t know which is worse, that I haven’t really had my eyes checked/prescription updated in 7 years, or that I’ve been wearing the same freakin glasses for 7 years. Blah. I’m seriously considering contacts. In the beginning, I like wearing glasses because it made me look “older” and I thought it was more likely to have people take me seriously… but NOW I’m old enough and need the reverse (keep looking young for as long as I can eeeek)… so contacts maybe be my near future. My parents are very much against contacts though, the whole sticking things on your eyeball isn’t good for you… then they also make fun of me for wearing glasses (the whole “guys don’t make passes” blah blah).
ANYWAYS, the moral of the story is I need my eyes checked ASAP. The big question is do I want new lenses OR new frames OR contacts… OR laser eye surgery :-O
P.S. I am bored. And Rambling. I apologize :-/
