In My Life, I’ve Loved Them All

Welcome to My Life

Well hello there

How long have I been meaning to get a real site going? True, I did have a simple website on our Earthlink account many years ago… I wrote the code all by myself using only The Idiot’s Guide To HTML for reference. It was the mid 90’s and I thought it was cool to have all the bell’s and wistles I could find going on my site… things that scrolled, frames, counters, and something that even changed you cursor to a Garfield head! It was an essay about this website that helped me get into The George Washington University… yes, that is right, back in 1998 I believe the exact college application essay question was “If you could have your own website, what would it look like?” That should have been a hint about the exact calaber of this higher institution of learning. The website has since died.

There is also the website I created as a lab project for my MIS class at GW. I think the requirements were that it had to have links. And we had to write it with FrontPage and upload it to a server. Wow. I use it for quick reference to things I use often, but it’s nothing that amazing.

And now I am all grown up, out of college and in the real world… with a real website, how exciting. Hopefully it will become a place to organize the things I love and to update you all on what exactlly is going on in my life.

We’ll see how it goes
